What we typically accept for ITAD and e-waste

FTD Environmental Tech accepts a broad range of IT and electronic equipment for recycling, value recovery, and secure disposition. Flag anything that may hold data so we can apply wiping or destruction before reuse or recycle streams.

This list is a practical starting point for offices, agencies, and facilities. Contact us before pickup if you have items not shown here, large volumes, or materials that may need special handling.

Computing & servers

  • Desktops, towers, and all-in-one PCs
  • Laptops and tablets
  • Servers, blades, and rack equipment
  • Workstations and thin clients
  • Hard drives, SSDs, and removable media

Networking & telecom

  • Switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Wireless access points and controllers
  • Modems, gateways, and VoIP phones
  • Patch panels, UPS units, and PDUs
  • Cell phones and mobile accessories

Peripherals & office

  • Monitors and displays
  • Printers, scanners, and copiers
  • Keyboards, mice, and docking stations
  • Cables, power supplies, and adapters
  • Projectors and conference-room AV gear

Batteries & related

  • Laptop and UPS batteries (as accepted by program)
  • Common rechargeable cell and tool batteries
  • Phone batteries when packaged safely

Damaged, swollen, or leaking batteries may require special handling — tell us before pickup.

Items that may need review

Medical devices, industrial controls, CRT displays, and hazardous materials outside standard e-waste streams may require pre-approval. When in doubt, send a photo and inventory list — or choose Mixed / Other on the pickup form.
